When shopping online, people should keep some things in mind. For instance, the promised goods probably won’t look like the ones in your imagination. But a woman from Australia learned this the hard way, instead of just paying attention to what people are saying.

The unnamed woman placed an ad on the site Gumtree saying she wanted to buy an Apple Iphone. Another woman replied to the ad, promising two Apple iPhones for $1,200. The victim of online shopping thought she would make an awesome deal, so she met the tradeswoman at a McDonald’s parking lot. The seller gave her two iPhone boxes, which were heavy enough to contain two phones and looked brand new. However, the woman never bothered to look inside them and drove away. Once she returned to her home, she found that the boxes contained apple products, but they weren’t what she hoped they would be.

The seller had sold her two edible fruits and even the police couldn’t do anything about it!
