The actor who played a Russian boxer in the famous movie that also starred Sylvester Stallone is actually a real-life genius.
Dolph Lundgren grew up in the family of successful academics. His father was an economist and an engineer in the Swedish government and his mother was a foreign languages teacher. The action-movie icon graduated from high-school with a straight A record then moved to the US where he studied chemistry in the Washington State University after which he returned to Sweden to serve the mandatory two years in the army. Next, Lundgren earned a degree in chemical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology situated in Stockholm. In 1982 Lundgren graduated from the University of Sydney with a master’s degree of chemical engineering and was also top of his class. Then he received a Fullbright scholarship for MIT in Boston.
While educating himself thoroughly in the field of chemistry, Lundgren also learned seven languages and he has 160 IQ. On top of all that, he is an accomplished athlete with a black belt in Kyokushin karate and a reputable competition career.
Nowadays, Lundgren is a famous actor who has starred in over 40 movies mostly in the action genre.
