Vin Diesel, the acclaimed Hollywood actor, is known for blockbusters such as Fast and Furious, The Chronicles of Riddick, Find Me Guilty. His deep baritone voice and his impressive looks have also helped in turning him into a household name. Allegedly, Diesel’s voice broke around the age of 15, but his very first role came at the age of 7.
When he was 7 years old Diesel and some friend broke into a theater in New York and their intentions were none other than to vandalize the place. Fortunately, they were caught by Crystal Field, an artistic director, who probably had the ability to foresee the future, because he didn’t call the police on that fateful day. Instead, he gave the boys the script for Dinosaur Door by Barbara Garson, in which Diesel starred. It was his very first role.
Growing up the star gained his nickname “Diesel”, because his friends thought his never ending energy was fueled by diesel.
