One of the most important rules in the thief’s handbook is not to reveal your identity, because you can get easily caught. However, 3 youngsters from Rhode Island didn’t think about it before sending a series of selfies to the woman, whose cell phone they stole.
The victim, identified as Betty Ann, got her phone stolen earlier this month while having a meal at a Galaxie Restaurant in Rhode Island. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the woman started receiving photos of the alleged thieves in her mail. Eight selfies were sent one at a time and they all portray a young boy and several of his friends posing for the shots. The woman decided she had to take matters into her own hands and posted the selfies on the Cranston Patch page on Facebook. She asked anyone with information regarding the youngsters to teach them some lessons about life. She also said that Karma will get back to them.
The police are still trying to identify the thieves. In the meantime, the woman has received a ton of advice from Internet users on how to get back her phone.
