A new study reveals that you’re not crazy if you think aliens exist, since apparently you’re not he only one. In fact, you’ll be surprised by how many people believe in the existence of UFOs!
You’re not the only one – a new study claims. YouGov, a website dedicated to helping the community (a.k.a. us, mortals) take part in various political, social and global decisions, recently posted the results of an interesting study they conducted regarding the possibility of alien life in our universe.
As it turns out, the majority of UK, US and Germany citizens believe in extraterrestrials. In fact, the study shows that one in every two people residing in The States, the UK and Germany believes that aliens exist. 56% of Germans think UFOs are real, as well as 54% of Americans and 52% of Brits. YouGov’s stunning research shows that mostly men are prone to believing in the existence of outer space creatures, although when it comes to German residents, women are usually the ones to believe in UFOs. Strangely enough, there were many people, who simply decided to choose the “I don’t know” option when asked if they believed in extraterrestrial intelligent life.
The entire controversy surrounding the alien-related subject is known as the Fermi Paradox – a name given by Italian physicist Enrico Fermi. 17% of the people, who took part in the poll, are convinced that we have already been face to face with aliens, but our governments have simply covered it up with some logical explanations. The lack of evidence of alien life is just as vast as the countless reports of UFO sightings over the past couple of centuries. Regardless if they exist or not, the best thing we can do is to hope that if they ever come to Earth, they won’t wish to colonize us and take us over.
