Ellabell, a Twitter user, has been experiencing the same horror over and over again on every single 1st of April ever since her childhood years when her own father pulled a prank on her. When Ellabell was only a 7 year old girl her father made her believe that she was accepted into the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry – the magical castle, in which 11 to 17 year old witches and wizards in the Harry Potter universe go in order to learn magic, potions and all sorts of other super interesting stuff. As any other child, Ellabell loved the idea of becoming a Hogwarts alumna, so when her dad told her she was accepted, she believed him. The man wasn’t sure that his daughter would buy, but she did. So, as a punishment, he decided to tell her the truth. And remind her of it every single April Fools’ Day ever since!

Ellabell, who’s fully grown now, still dreads the 1st of April. According to her own words, “April is the cruelest month” of all. Not only that, but her father’s prank and tendency of reminding it every single year have transformed the 1st of April into the most dreadful day of the year. The guy never misses his change to remind his daughter that she fell for the prank every April and he most definitely did not forget to do it this year.

The woman’s tweets clearly show how irritated she is by her father’s tradition. She took her sorrows to the social media, where she explained why she hates April Fools’ Day and that her father reminded her of it again.
